Most of the philosophical questions that mankind ponders could be answered or refocused with the answer to this title. As with such a question there presently is no empirical evidence to provide concrete proof one way, or another. But, there is more than sufficient evidence to form concrete theories.
My own personal views are probably most closely held to the teleological persuasion, as being a graphic designer and new media developer…
