I really liked the bit about churches being bomb shelters from the world and the need to 'survive' and become inward looking and hanging on to cash rather than using it. I think this is so true, I have felt these feelings myself. Interesting that it is when a church gets big, wealthy and comfortable that it often starts to decline.
