Spirituality and Leadership - yep; another perspective...

Okay.

So, while I've been here at the University of Miami, I have been trying to - as my pastor would say - leverage my position (aka "job") for the kingdom as best I can. Sometimes this works incredibly well with relatively little work (as is evident by the group that meets in our apartment on Sunday nights) and sometimes...it's a struggle.

Shameless plug for self-promotion

Okay - not that this is a hobby of mine or anything. I'm actually pretty darn bad at self-promotion. Maybe it's the Southern in me (if you're from the South...you'll understand the spirit of that comment). Regardless, I always find it..odd...when I try and promote myself or something I've done that I think could be classified as "cool." Not that this stops me, mind you. I just find it awkward.
