Can someone be a member of more than one church? Why Not?

Added a post Feb 29

I understand what Mike says, but then this scenario pops to my head. If some Christian is bonded to a church by family and people who have come to be their family; but they are convicted that they ... Read More »

I agree with Chris, its not such a black and white situation, maybe its just about priorities and special circumstances for each church environment and resources, and for the things also Chris said... Read More »

Ode to Love

My grandma (Abuela Eva) died this past Friday, 21st of September 2007, she was 80 years old. Is an irreparable lost, she was, was, a very happy, sweet and loving person. She had a heart attack Friday morning, and another one at the night. She used to be in the hospital very often, because she was very sick and she suffered from diabetes, high triglycerides and cholesterol, she had no sight in one eye, and ear problems, not of hearing but something related to locating

Hey Girl,
Mama has to wear the boot for a while longer MUCH to her disappointment. She goes back to the dr. on the 20th. Leg/ankle is still badly swollen.
I'm still in my boot (inflamed tendons/fracture) Have worn mine a month now--I go back to the dr. on Tues. so I'll know more then--I'm tired of it for sure LOL. Enjoyed Christmas and seeing family. Church is busy as usual--ready to get back in the swing of things after the holidays. I'm currently seeking God's desire for my life--
How are things with you? What have you been up to? You are in my prayers,

HI,
I will keep you in my prayers. Let me know what you decide.

I have been being "nurse" to my mama. She fell, shattered bones in her leg, broke her ankle and chipped her heel. She had surgery and has a 6" plate w/6 screws in her leg, 2 3" screws in her ankle, and the heel is healing on its own. I have siblings, but apparently their schedules don't allow them to help much. I practically moved in the first 2 weeks, came home a week--went back three days and will be going back tomorrow for a few days.

On an upbeat note--tomorrow is my b-day and my husband took us all horseback riding--it was a blast.

Praying for you. Hang in there.

HI--Much better--was sick w/a virus for a while, but seem to be on the mend. Stephen and I attended a Shared Hope sponsored meeting/film pres. last pm. It was awesome though a bit unnerving at what we learned. I posted on it here on M.
How are things going with you? What have you been up to?

Hey, girl thanks for asking--but of course you can. It's difficult to describe the impact it made on those who went this past time. It was awesome--God was really at work. Would love to hear about how it goes for you (and :"your kids" if you have the time to let me know. later,

So glad to hear from you--what classes are you taking this semester?
We are doing well. Teaching our teens to live out the commandment to serve others-esp the homeless, orphans and widows--Have a slide show and post update on my site. Our goal is to teach them now to make an impact for our Father NOW (as teens) and in our corner of the world so that their service in these areas are a consisent.
You're in my prayers.

btw--saw you were interested in youth work. Feel free to check out HeroU at beone2.ning.com and see more of what we are up too--we are ALWAYS open to new ideas. We are actually burning the hero cd's and allowing the teens to have them so that when they hear these songs they will related to them in a totally different way. Thanks for your encouraging comments.

Hi Rebeca
I answered your questions about the Hero video and the Nisu people under your comments. This video moved me as well. If you have any more questions, let me know--I'll do my best to answer them :-) I really like your background here--very cool!
